Chocolate Banana
Energy Bars

SERVINGS: 9 bars
PREP TIME: Prep: 10 min.
COOKING TIME: 25-30 min.

Ingredients:
1½ cups oatmeal (can grate 1 cup in blender to flour)
1½ scoops (or cup) unflavoured protein (whey or iso whey works well)
1/3 cup dry skim milk powder
1 tbsp cocoa
2 tbsp sugar (honey can work too)
1½ mashed banana
1/3 c egg whites
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ tsp vanilla
Option ¾ cup chocolate chips and or dried fruit

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 9x9 square pan with cooking spray.
2. In a medium bowl mix all dry ingredients. In another bowl mix all wet ingredients and blender with electric blender until smooth.
3. Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix by hand. (option here to add cup of chocolate chips and or any unsulphered dried fruit).
4. Pour in pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and slice into 9 bars
